January 29th, 2012 - Drew McAlister

Born in Narrabri and raised in Moree in country New South Wales, Drew McAlister grew up listening to Bryan Adams, Noiseworks and Slim Dusty and started singing at age 7. One of four children, after finishing school at the age of 18, Drew decided to take his music ability seriously and left the country for the dazzling lights of Sydney. He immediately picked up session work for major brand television and radio jingles. During the next few of years, Drew continued to write his songs, performed in many different bands and appeared on The Midday Show and Hey Hey Its Saturday numerous times. Drew then toured Australia with the production of Jesus Christ Superstar before eventually landing a recording deal with EMI

They have been booked for many blues rock roots folk indie festivals as their style is so adaptable and strong.They put on a well crafted show not just about the music.AHMC Band have been getting audiences stirred up with their high energy, foot stomping roots, blues and rock.White hot raunchy slide, powerful vocals and driving beats get people up with an uncontrollable urge to move every part of their bodies.Adam plays slide guitaracoustic and resonator like a demon possessed, he belts out originals and unique conversions of some classic old blues songs with a vengeance. Marjis songs are powerful passionate heartfelt delivered with a voice that gets down and dirty one minute then has you soaring like an angel the next. Phoebe on drums tops it all off with her experimentally eclectic driving rhythms. She will take you on a journey playing anything from a jerry can to Chinese gongs shes busy and bold and gets it all jumpin. Three blondes can’t be wrong! Joined now by Doug on bass guitar to make a powerhouse foursome. This band fuses different genres to create a whole new sound no way can you pigeonhole this band. Kye Adam Brown was born in Wagga Wagga NSW 1985.Today Kye lives in Sydney playing all over the region at a vast array of pubs and venues giving him heaps of exposure to the Sydney Scene. From his imagination in his Cover work to his inspiration in his own melodic compositions at 25 years of age Kye is increasingly getting more gigs than ever before.From the smooth sounds of James Taylor and Eric Clapton to the emotions of The Fray and Sister Hazel Whether it is John Mayer or John Fogerty or even Tracy Chapman Kyes set lists are tailored to what YOU wanna hear.Kye taught himself to play the Guitar from 8 years old and later in his teens realized he could sing, giving him raw and natural talent which also portrays natural emotion. After finishing school Kye sang with many known artists around the Riverina Wagga wagga giving him plenty of experience from some of the most influential people in his life.These People were John and Cheryl Roy Jamie Way Greg Byng Cheyne Halloran and Mr. Mick Bromham.Having played with Older Musos Kyes Influences in music ranges anywhere from James Brown all the way to Justin Timberlake. January 18th, 2012 - Kid Vegaz (David Johnstone)

Kid Vegaz David Johnstone is a 24 year old singer songwriter from the hills district. Has been playing in and out of bands/musicals his whole life and recently has undertaken his own solo career within the music industry. David has been a well known performer amongst the hills area playing in bands like Badge Of Honour, The Initiation & Worst Case Scenario. Hes entertainment career started back at his local high school Castle Hill High performing regularly in the musicals & showcases also school jazz bands too.After recording some demos from home and placing them up on the internet David was then discovered by a well known Australian Talent Agency Hype 33 who have worked among some of Australias greats like Stan Walker Jess Mauboy and Delta to name a few to have his songs shopped at Music Matters conference in Singapore after the director of Hype 33 saw the potential within his demos.This year Kid Vegaz has taken the next step into the entertainment ladder and auditioned for well known show Australias Got Talent and was liked by one of the shows producers and is still awaiting on their response in mid Dec. His youtube channel has also had over 11,267 views and in a month of having his Facebook artist page up has had over 1000 likes

January 4th, 2012 - Imogen Clarke

Imogen Clark is a young singer songwriter from Bowen Mountain whos had a breathtaking musical ride in recent months.Imogens unique brand of indie folk has been embraced by audiences across Western Sydney through gigs at Sassafras Cafe Kurrajong The Blue Tongue Cafe Glenbrook and The Fitzroy Hotel Windsor.she has an impressive relaxed command of the stage formed by years of prize winning school and Eisteddfod performances.Imogen recently caught the eyes and ears of industry professionals when she entered the prestigious Telstra Road to Tamworth competition. She blew away artists twice her age by winning her heat then making it through the semi final at Telstra Dome in Olympic Park. Imogen then took the stage at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in a live telecast with a supporting band of professional musicians behind her. As a finalist Imogen took part in a boot camp run by recording company executives and mentoring musicians which gave her valuable insights towards planning a future career in music.Imogen has just released her debut EP of all her own material called Sky Stands Still and she ll be performing them live on guitar and piano soon at venues across the Hawkesbury.
