May 4th, 2008 - Cover ups

What began as an invitation to “come sit in for a few songs,” has grown into a literal marriage of individual musical styles – Classic Rock with a splash of Country and R&B. On June 6, 1997, founding member, Kevin Crum, invited Tammi Smith to join him in a few songs on stage during a solo gig. The experience sealed their fates, and from that moment Kevin realized that his dream of marrying either a singer or a chiropractor could indeed come true. The Cover-Ups were born, and the beat goes on!

Keith Rosenbaum, drummer and back-up vocalist for The Cover-Ups, was a great addition to the band. Kevin met Keith at Bizarre Guitar 30 years ago. (Where does the time go?) At that time, Keith was the drummer in one of the most popular bands in the Valley – The City Kids. Many years later, when The Cover-Ups were in search of a drummer and Kevin learned that Keith was available, it didn’t take long to make the all.
