August 28th, 2009 - VIBE-A-LICLOUS DJ Willi

Willi was then trained at emerald city the studio of Troy – T & G - Wizard and learnt a lot about how the industry works and what to do to get a dance floor pumping. He then started mixing at clubs all over Manly (Steyne, Henry Afrika) and the infamous Tank nightclub on Friday nights. Making a bit of a name for himself.Willi then landed a few resident spots at The Ranch and Aurora Hotel, along the way regularly playing at The Pavilion on George Street, Docks nightclub on Darling Harbour, Roxy, Collector Hotel and One World In Parramatta, Goodbar, Havana, Space and UN On Oxford Street and flying interstate once a month for guest dj gigs (Alice springs, Cairns). As well as playing at local gyms as a resident dj during the week ( Fitness No 1, Valley Fitness.)

Willi was then chosen by the local papers (Fairfield Champion, Fairfield Advance) to be written a feature article on about being a young dj from the local community on the rise in the industry travelling interstate as well as playing at all the major clubs in Sydney. His name is now very well known within the local community and Sydney clubbing scene and can also be heard on various radio ad’s played on the edge 96.1. Mixing a variety of house and dance tracks, Willi then realised he needed an upgrade in equipment, buying himself a set of MK3\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and DJM 800, also starting a audio engineering / production course at SAE this year and investing in some production equipment. Willi is still on his way to where he wants to be in the music industry and is still mixing week in week out at various clubs across Sydney to get there.

Willi now at a later stage in his career is trying to open more doors and options in his profession by running small club events and under 18 dance parties and would like to eventually get into promoting and running a successful night club as well as building his name and venues in the music and deejaying industry. ..
