She always had a passion for travelling, its in her blood so she trained as a croupier at 18 and traveled around the world, which inspired her song writing, from dealing illegal poker games in Amsterdam to hitch hiking the coast of Australia, alone on cattle trains but always with a guitar on her back. She is an adventuress, a writer, seasoned guitar player and passionate vocalist.

She is a troubadour, telling tales with humour and wit, honesty and slang, a musical inspiration, beat poetry to blues, an instrumental turbine of melody and the people gawp at her fearless playing, as she stands alone on a stage her fingerstyle is unique and spell binding…how does she make it sound like three guitars playing at the same time?

The new album ‘KITCHEN TABLE’ is a mix of roots, ragtime entwined with bluegrass frails and home down blues slide and has received stunning reviews to date
Bex completed three US tours over the last eighteen months where her album Kitchen Table got to #20 in the AMA charts. Bex has recently performed live BBC Radio 2 sessions for Bob Harris and Paul Jones.
