Hailing from Melbourne where he studied under Peter Blick, drummer Krishaan has always been involved in funk and blues bands. His apprenticeship started as a teenager where he would sit in with his Dad’s bands in Melbournes pubs and clubs. The highlight of which was sitting in for renowned Australian drummer Trevor Courtney with 12 Bars from Mars at age 20. Krishaan mixes a big sound with measured finesse and a fiery passion to provide a unique and solid wall of rhythm. He has been determined to establish a blues band in the Mountains and Bent Blues has been the culmination of this effort.Adam Robinson on the bass has played the pubs and clubs of Sydney since the early 1980s. He has around two thousand gigs under his belt on electric and upright bass, covering a wide range of musical styles from orchestral to folk to blues to punk rock and everything in between. He has toured Australia playing everything from small pubs to larger venues like the Hordern Pavilion Festival Hall and the Sydney Opera House. He has played outdoor festivals and done television and studio work, sharing the stage with celebrities ranging from Paul Kelly to Rolf Harris to Bob Hawke to Humphrey B. Bear. Sitting in with local band ‘Doctor and the Badman’ rekindled Adam\\\'s interest in blues, which had first been sparked by hearing BB King play. When Adam realised Bent Blues was a chance to work with Jay, who had played lead guitar in Dr and The Badman and with Krishaan, who he had jammed with earlier, he jumped at the chance.
