BASTIAN READY TO EXPLODE
Sydney 3 piece Funk Rock outfit Bastian have just recorded their long awaited album Purple Monkey Dishwasher. The band have been working hard with producer, and Aria award winner, Anton Hagop and vocal producer Dan Jenkinson on getting an amazing recording. It’s been 2 years in the making full of their real blood, sweat & tears. This recording really has captured the unique Bastian raw sound.
The 10 song album features awesome songs like Echo, King Patch Face and Coke & Lemonade.
Bastians amazing film clip for the first single Echo features the story of Jumping Jeff a young man who set out to conquer Australia on a pogo stick. It can be seen on Rage, MTV, Channel V or online
Katie was born in Mona Vale Hospital and grew up in Hornsby Heights. She has always sung since she was little, putting on shows for her family with her sister and other family members. Katie grew up listening and singing to Whitney Houston and Barbara Streisand and always marvelled at their power and range. She sang in the school choir and local amateur musical theatre.
Kelly Hope, a singer-songwriter taking on the country music world by storm. Originally from Albury and now based on the Central Coast, NSW, Kelly has been performing and writing her own songs since the age of 14.
Kelly released her self-titled debut album late 2006, with the first single HEARTBREAK ROAD making the Top 30 on the Top 100 Country Hits chart as well as making the 2007 Top 100 Country Hits Of the Year at 97, with the accompanying filmclip seen on CMC.

Seattle Sound are a NSW Covers Band who formed in 1996 after realising that they could deliver the music influenced by the grunge explosion of the 90s coming out of Seattle.Unlike the many other Cover Bands that were around at the same time, Seattle Sound are the only surviving show from that period. They have proven themselves by their repeatedly breaking Attendance and Bartaking records, which they STILL, 7 years on, continue to do at venues like Castle Hill Tavern, G.Ws - Penrith, not forgetting the smashing of their OWN record at The Collector Tavern- Parramatta and The Fitzroy Hotel at Windsor
In the tradition of Short Cool Ones, the 1996 blues release from diesel and Chris Wilson (under the Wilson diesel moniker), diesel returns once again to his roots, and to the studio to produce a raw blues album with the working title ‘Saturday Suffering Fools’.
Slated for a May 2009 release and comprising of originals and unearthed blues gems, the record will feature long-term band members Richie Vez and Lee Moloney, as well as Bernie Bremond (ex the Injectors) and father Hank Lizotte on horns.
While the paint is still drying on the recording, the band will embark on some special preview live dates at select venues.
The live show will comprise selections from Saturday Suffering Fools, past cuts from the 1996 release Short Cool Ones and will also see diesel and his band revisit his back catalogue and its connections to diesel’s blues roots.
