Jack Derwin Australian contemporary musician, delivers a blend of blues jazz roots and acoustic standards with originality.The music is delivered with drive and passion by his trademark timbered vocals, percussive acoustic & slide guitars, stompbox and harmonica.Mostly solo, Jack also works with combos including sax flute, guitar or percussion.
Sendfire were formed in late 2009 and despite the relatively short life time of the band they have already established themselves as one of NSW premier rock bands, setting a new standard for live production on the independent scene by incorporating video screens and lighting visuals.Sendfire’s music combines soaring vocal melodies with catchy rock based guitar hooks and a driving rhythm section, the live show is filled with an energy as raw and exposing as it is energetic, emotive and fun.
Marlow formed in 2004, with a shared interest in creating a unique, alternative and driven sound. With the aim to produce a cinematic experience, Marlow experimented with unconventional sounds to create a style of their own. Their presence in the local scene over the last 2 years has managed to stamp their name in venues such as The Annandale Hotel, The Gaelic Club, Newtown RSL among others. Marlow debuted their long awaited EP titled Opposing The Herd to a hungry, capacity crowd at The Excelsior Hotel on April 4 2009. With plans to push the EP far and wide across the country, Marlow are just starting to open up their stride.
Kaleeko formed in Western Sydney early 2006, heavily influenced by Australian artists such as Cog, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and MM9, Kaleeko have performed at many popular music venues across Sydney and are continuing to deliver an explosive live performance to all audiences.
Unknownquantity are an energetic four piece progressive rock band from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. They merged onto the Music scene in 2005 with their melodic riffs and big sound, led by the powerful vocals of Matt Shaw. Unknownquantity have made a big name for themselves supporting bands such as “Mammal”, “28 Days”, “MM9”, “Sydonia”, “Rook”, “The Trial Kennedys”, and many more.
The Cover Ups-Live Duo was first formed in 2004 with collaboration between David Taylor and Hayley summers. They met while both working on P&O cruises overseas and through their love of music came to together to create what is now the Cover ups. Their aim in the beginning was to only perform acoustic covers. Over time they realised that playing with backing music gave them not only a much bigger sound, but more freedom to perform a wider range of songs that would appeal to different audiences. Making their own backing tracks and using a blend of high quality midi sounds and live instruments gives the cover ups a sound that could lead you to believe they were a 4 piece band. They play a variety of cover songs ranging from top 40 music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and today. With Hayley on vocals and Dave on Guitar, bass and occasionally bringing out a ukulele, the quality duo are sure to entertain.
SYDNEYS MOST ADDICTIVE COVER BAND - Smoke are a six piece party band and have been performing for over a decade. Consisting of both female & male vocals, Smoke perform a wide variety of popular booty shakin cover songs from the 70s 80s and 90s to current chart music which are sure to get the party started and keep the dancefloor full all night long!

Currently laying the finishing touches on their first bag of goodies, Sabriel have just started to hit the stages of Sydney. The shows so far have seen Sabriel thoroughly arouse crowds with their unique flavour of progressive post grunge rock. The melodies and riffs being hummed long after the amps have cooled down. Mid 2010 and four shows into their career Sabriel have made it to semi finals in band competitions Emergenza How the west was won & Quest for Rock. Sabriel have now tasted a whiff of success and will be heads down working hard to perfect their live show so stay tuned.
