June 11th, 2010 - Seattle sound

Seattle Sound are a NSW Covers Band who formed in 1996 after realising that they could deliver the music influenced by the grunge explosion of the 90s coming out of Seattle.Unlike the many other Cover Bands that were around at the same time, Seattle Sound are the only surviving show from that period. They have proven themselves by their repeatedly breaking Attendance and Bartaking records, which they STILL, 7 years on, continue to do at venues like Castle Hill Tavern, G.Ws - Penrith, not forgetting the smashing of their OWN record at The Collector Tavern- Parramatta and The Fitzroy Hotel at Windsor

May 29th, 2010 - The Prehistorics

After much anticipation, THE PREHISTORICS, a four-piece Detroit style/alternative rock n roll band from Sydney, New South Wales, finally released their Debut album PETRIFIED on Saturday 17th October 2009.
PETRIFIED is the culmination of 3 years of hard work, writing songs and forging the bands line up, to arrive at its present form of Brendan Sequeira on vocals and rhythm guitar, Martin Fletch Fletcher on drums, Kane Fuller on Bass and ‘Wild Bill’ Burke taking the reins as the lead axeman.
The album was recorded over 2008/2009, at Love Hz Studious in the leafy inner-city Sydney suburb of Annandale, produced by THE PREHISTORICS and the legendary Michael Carpenter, who also engineered the project. TurtleRock Studios were the obvious choice for mastering such an epic album.
THE PREHISTORICS describe their new album as all killer and no filler and best sum up the style and influences as 70s inspired rock n roll with hooks. The songs are melodic yet punchy and tightly constructed to ensure they have a hard-hitting, memorable impact on the listener.
Initial response to the album has been encouraging with media outlets such as Radio Skidrow (88.9 FM) proclaiming their appreciation for the first track off the album, Zombie Generation:

May 14th, 2010 - Dave Tice

In 1970 Dave formed the legendary heavy rock band Buffalo along with co-founder Peter Wells of Rose Tattoo fame.
Buffalo went on to record 5 albums, most of which are now on the must have list for serious collectors worldwide. In a career spanning some 7 years Buffalo headlined their own tours Australia wide as well as touring with some of the biggest international acts to visit this country Black Sabbath Slade Status Quo Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow to name just a few. Along the way collecting gold records and Aria nominations and helping to define the style of music now recognized as Australian pub rock.
Demand for Buffalos recorded out-put has prompted the re-release of all their albums in CD format and Aztec music, a Melbourne based record company, began to release the first of 5 re-packaged albums in September 2005 to be followed by 4 more over the next couple of years. Also on re-release are the 2 studio albums recorded by the Dave’s English band “The Count Bishops” along with a new EP CD of songs recorded by the band for their last album but not used at the time because of lack of space. In 2005 Ace records celebrated 30 years in business and invited the 4 surviving members to London to perform at the celebration party held at Dingwalls in Camden Town, once the news got out the band was asked to do a public show at the 100 club in London’s west end which sold out in record time. As part of the “Ace” celebrations a DVD was filmed and is now available by special request from Ace.
