January 18th, 2009 - Drew McAlisterBorn in Narrabri and raised in Moree in country New South Wales, Drew McAlister grew up listening to Bryan Adams, Noiseworks and Slim Dusty and started singing at age 7. One of four children, after finishing school at the age of 18, Drew decided to take his music ability seriously and left the country for the dazzling lights of Sydney. He immediately picked up session work for major brand television and radio jingles. During the next few of years, Drew continued to write his songs, performed in many different bands and appeared on “The Midday Show” and “Hey Hey It’s Saturday” numerous times. January 31st, 2009 - Chasing Bailey Speak to any band about their first-ever show and you’ll hear tales of grimy clubs, poor sound and, if they’re lucky, a rent-a-crowd drunk enough to forgive every nervous mistake. For Chasing Bailey, a debut gig like that would have been a dream. Instead they arrived at a miniature horse show in Tamworth – that’s right, a show for tiny horses – set up their gear in a hospitality tent and stared out at a sea of empty chairs, wondering excitedly about how many of them would be occupied come show time. The answer? None. And so Chasing Bailey simply did what would soon become second nature – they got onstage and played their music as if the tent was packed to capacity.

February 1st, 2009 - The Cover upsWhat began as an invitation to “come sit in for a few songs,” has grown into a literal marriage of individual musical styles – Classic Rock with a splash of Country and R&B. On June 6, 1997, founding member, Kevin Crum, invited Tammi Smith to join him in a few songs on stage during a solo gig. The experience sealed their fates, and from that moment Kevin realized that his dream of marrying either a singer or a chiropractor could indeed come true. The Cover-Ups were born, and the beat goes on!
